Scholarship Program

Vet Tech Scholarship

The Missaukee Humane Society awards two $500 scholarships each year to support full-time Baker College students at the Cadillac campus who are pursuing a career as veterinary technicians.

Purpose
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in good standing at Baker College of Cadillac, Michigan campus. Proof of full-time enrollment in veterinary technology program / transcript copy.
  • At the time of application, the student must be entering his or her 2nd year of the 2-year program.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Submit a résumé and letter of reference.
  • 300–500 word essay explaining why the student wants to work in the veterinary field.
 
Applications accepted: 
September 1 – October 1 each year (closes at 11:59pm EST)
 
Award notification:
October 31, 2025
 
Award disbursement: December 18, 2025
 
Scholarship Funds will be deposited/applied directly to student’s account at Baker College.
