Scholarship Program
Vet Tech Scholarship
The Missaukee Humane Society awards two $500 scholarships each year to support full-time Baker College students at the Cadillac campus who are pursuing a career as veterinary technicians.
Purpose
- Designed to reduce financial barriers for students preparing for careers in veterinary technology.
- Developed to support future veterinary technicians and enhance the regional workforce in animal care.
Eligibility & Application
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in good standing at Baker College of Cadillac, Michigan campus. Proof of full-time enrollment in veterinary technology program / transcript copy.
- At the time of application, the student must be entering his or her 2nd year of the 2-year program.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Submit a résumé and letter of reference.
- 300–500 word essay explaining why the student wants to work in the veterinary field.
